• Comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations and operate our facility with all necessary environmental permits, approvals and operational controls.
• Take significant measures to conserve energy and increase efficiency to reduce our contribution to climate change such as the use of halogen lighting throughout the plant
• Employ a comprehensive in plant reduction/re-cycling policy and instill environmental responsibility as a corporate value. In 2010, Premier recycled 998,400 lbs of corrugated board and 1.3 million lbs of plastic products
• Develop our products to be safe to use and to minimize their environmental impact such as:
• environmentally friendly continuous sprays
• blister packaging in recycled material
• Promote relevant “Green” initiatives including an annual evaluation of products and the use of the latest eco-friendly materials.
• Strive to buy, sell and use environmentally friendly products whenever the market place allows.
